Day 17 of my Berlin diary. Day 1 is here.
Shortly after midnight I arrive at the Tresor club (see header image). I decided to go there twice, because the music was sooo good last weekend.
Less happy this time. To me it sounds like the DJs know more about volume than music. At 4:30 in the morning I don’t want to wait any longer for better music, so I leave.
The Berghain is not too far from the Tresor. I go there. The first half hour after I arrive the DJ is so so, then his set ends. The next two DJs are really good! Wow!
I meet a nice couple from Glasgow, who offer me from their drink („You must be VERY thirsty!“). Later, when the DJ plays a track with a particulary good and long flow, they yell into my ear that the track is from SLAM, DJs from their home town!
What a morning!
Hint: I discovered by chance that the small bar above the big bar (next to the main dance floor) sells ice cream, coffee, food, smoothies and more. Reasonably priced, tasty – and much needed at times.
I stay until noon.
The train to Munich leaves in the afternon.
